Matt DiMase, Golf Course Superintendent at Southworth club The Abaco Club on Winding Bay, received his profession’s highest honor last week when he was named TurfNet Superintendent of the Year. Matt was one of five very deserving finalists, all of whom have earned high praise for their on-course excellence. But in the end, it was Matt’s courageous efforts to assist the people of Abaco during and after Hurricane Dorian that earned him the award. Congratulations Matt!
