The Abaco Club is a truly unique private sporting community nestled on a quiet crescent-shaped bay with 2.5 miles of white sand beaches on Great Abaco Island in The Bahamas. The club offers beautiful homes, a fabulous Cliff House for dining and fun, and a tropical links golf course, all less than 200 miles off the Florida coast. Indeed, the championship course is pure Scottish links design courtesy of master architects Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie. There are big swales in many of the fairways and on the greens, reminiscent of the great courses in Scotland and Ireland. There are pot bunkers, and a number of holes hug the sea, so the wind blows on the Abaco course just like it does in the old country.
